The genesis for this story was based on my obsession with Riccardo Tisci’s Givenchy haute couture collection influenced by Frida Kahlo. I was inspired by how he included elements of sexuality, religion and animalism, with his always present foundation of masculinity and touches of romantic elegance. We were honored to shoot at Frida’s Mexico City studio and home.
