After returning from shooting this story in Mexico City, I went to the Balenciaga exhibit curated by Hamish Bowles. I was delighted to see that Cristobal Balenciaga was also greatly inspired by Francisco Goya. The Duchess of Alba by Goya was the theme for this shoot.
